Local Info
Smart Home Control
You'll see Google Home devices around the house.
To speak to them, just say 'Hey Google' or 'Okay Google' and then give it your command.
Top tip:
When you're tucked up in bed, you can turn off all the lights and turn the heating down with the command: 'Hey Google, good night!'

Lighting
You can ask Google anything, but you will need to speak to Google to control some of the lights.
You just need to say "Hey Google, turn on/off the NAME OF LIGHTS" replacing 'NAME OF LIGHTS' with one of these:
Hall light
Living Room Lamps
Landing Light
Dining Room Lamp
For example, to turn the hall light on, say: 'Hey Google, turn on the Hall light'.
Heating
Heating is separated out so that you can control the downstairs and upstairs.
Heating is set to a schedule, but you can also manually control the heat using the Nest Thermostats.
The downstairs thermostat in on the wall in the kitchen
The upstairs thermostat is on the white side unit in the yellow room
Just rotate the metal band to set the temperature higher or lower.

Socks

Thank you for looking after Socks
Food
Her dry food is automatic, but she also likes a teaspoon of wet food every morning.
There might be an open packet in the fridge. When you get up in the morning, call her and put a teaspoon into her ceramic dish. Use the pink clip to keep the food fresh.
She also has some treats and you can give her some of those - they're a great way to befriend her!
Water
Please keep her water fountain topped up - you can see a 'min' and 'max' line in the spout at the front.
Litter tray
Please use one of the small black poop bags to pick up her solid waste, tie it up, and put it in the black bin outside.
Once a week, please replace the cat litter. Simply remove the white liner, tie it up, and put it in the black bin outside. Replace it by putting in a new liner and adding a layer of cat litter, about 5cm deep.
Exercise
Socks is getting on a bit now so will spend most of her day sleeping, but she does like to go outside, especially if it's sunny.
Please only let her out the back door, and make sure she comes back inside if you go out.
Please don't let her out the front door: she will try, but don't let her succeed!
Going out
It's absolutely fine to leave Socks at home on her own all day, just make sure she's inside and you've topped up her water. Please give her a bit of a fuss when you come back.
